Some of My Favorite Reads…Part 2 of Books & More

Earlier this year I took part in a presentation of great books at the Westport Library and I listed many of them in Part 1 of Books & More,  Here are the rest of my recommendations – these are some of my favorites separated into categories: Outcast Characters, South African Stories, and the 1980’s.  If you take the time to read the author Q & As you may gain additional insight and learn something extra.  I am always so appreciative when an author agrees to answer a few of my questions and it makes me love a book even more!  I hope it is the same for you!

If you like the 80s you must watch Pose on TV (FX).  It is the Fame of this generation and stars transgender and gay actors.  Billy Porter is phenomenal and the show is created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk – the team that created Glee, American Horror Story and Scream Queens.. and also worked on Nip/Tuck.
