Does Listening Count?
When asked which books you have read this year, lots of people want to know “Does listening count?”. There has been a huge rise in audiobooks being published and listened to over the past several years and if you ask me, YES IT COUNTS!
When to Listen…
Devouring a great story wearing headphones gives you the perfect opportunity to stay active and keep up with your reading. If you are going on a road trip with the family, listening to a book in the car is a wonderful way to bond and experience the literary journey all together. Whether you choose to take a walk, clean the house, or are planning a long drive, take full advantage and listen to an audiobook…BONUS is this giving you more time for Netflix later on!

And TV Bingewatching Suggestions…
No matter how busy I am, I always enjoy downtime in front of the TV. Here are some of the latest guilty pleasures I have been drawn into.
Maid (Netflix)
A mini series based on Stephanie Land’s memoir about her escape from domestic violence and poverty.
You (Netflix)
Based on books by Caroline Kepnes, Season 3 has lots of murder, but I can’t look away!
Succession (HBO Max)
Long Awaited Season 3 is available but I am starting from the beginning.
Impeachment: American Crime Story (FX)
The Monica Lewinsky Bill Clinton scandal as seen through the eyes of the young White House worker. The real Lewinsky co-produced the show.
Only Murders in the Building (Hulu)
Steve Martin and Martin Short are entertaining, incredibly talented guys and the upper west side setting is a treat.
Squid Game (Netflix)
This Korean drama is a little too violent for me but I am still plowing through.
Younger (Hulu and Paramount)
Broadway star Sutton Foster and Peter Hermann (Mariska Hargitay’s handsome husband) entertain in this feel good series with lots of great guest stars. A few scenes were filmed in my husband’s office in downtown Manhattan, so that was a fun surprise!
